On May 12th, 2008, a strange thing happened in Sichuan. At 14;28, the earth began to shake, which destroyed the cities and towns. Many people, including workers and doctors came to rescue those who were trapped in the ruins. Many people were killed or wounded and a lot of buildings fell down. Later, soldiers were called on to help the workers and doctors rescue the poor people.
When I heard this news on TV, I’m sorry to hear that. I thought I was lucky to enjoy living safely. Today, I give some money to Sichuan. I hope they can stand up again. I should do what I can do to help them because we are friends and brothers. We have the same family named China. I want to tell them: Don’t give up. Tomorrow is another day! Fight!
